Business Development Manager Afrika

To further consolidate the presence of Frisomat in Africa, we are looking for a Business Development Manager to join our team!

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

  • You stay up to date with marketing developments and how competitors position themselves in the market. You use this information to strengthen the position of our company.
  • You’re closely involved with clients, establishing strong long-term relationships with them, as well as with partners and dealers.
  • You’re responsible for several focus markets in Africa.
  • You build new and promising commercial relationships with clients in various sectors: industry, logistics, distribution, agriculture, government, and others.
  • You’re recognised by a growing network of professionals as a reliable and trustworthy contact for new building investments and project developments on the African continent.
  • You make the most of new market opportunities. You advise potential clients, architects and/or consultancy agencies on made-to-measure solutions and innovative steel-construction concepts.
  • You work closely with marketing, consultancy and estimation services.
  • You report directly to the Team Manager for Africa.

YOUR PROFILE

  • You have tertiary education in economic studies: Trade Engineering, Trade Sciences, Applied Economic Sciences. You may have the equivalent through experience.
  • You have experience in a relevant commercial function in an industrial B2B environment, with or without an international character. Experience in Business Development in Africa is a strong benefit.
  • You have a strong interest in tailored technical solutions, project development and building and construction investments.
  • You’re a highly motivated and ambitious professional, results-oriented and full of initiative and conviction.
  • You’re a studious, independent and flexible professional who sets new standards for efficiency and organisation.
  • You’re prepared to spend 25% of your time travelling within a large field of activity.
  • You’re a driven networker with excellent negotiation skills.
