2 identical pre-engineered hangars built in just 2 weeks

At the border crossing of Kapitan Andreevo, between Bulgaria and Turkey, Frisomat built 2 pre-engineered hangars in record time. This border crossing is one of the most-used for traffic between the EU and Turkey, Syria and Iran. On peak days, more than 42.000 people are passing the border checkpoint. On busy days, up to 20km long queues can be formed at the checkpoint.

Bulgaria’s accession to the Schengen area implicates a much faster and better treatment of people passing the checkpoint. Tourism is a rising star in Bulgaria, and therefore one of the first points of interest was the fluent passage of auto buses and private vehicles. At this point Frisomat comes into play.

Since the entire project had to be ready as quickly as possible (to meet the Schengen-criterions), Frisomat could play its best cards.

• Assembly of the industrial building : 7 days

The two Astrigma industrial buildings are covered with trapezoidal sheets, blue for the walls and white sheeting for the roof. The entire prefabricated hangar is fully insulated.
