New test and research facility

Frisomat Belgium invests in the construction of a new test and research facility in Wijnegem.

For 30 years now, Frisomat is an innovative construction company specialized in the development, production and construction of industrial steel buildings. The constructions are made of innovative, cold rolled prefabricated elements which are assembled on the building site. Quick, durable, economical and flexible. For many years, Frisomat invests in its own design and development department because there are limited or no standardized test and calculation models available for the use of cold rolled steel. A milestone in this strategy is the construction of a private test and research facility.

The building is a Frisomat concept, built from standard Frisomat components. The base structure is made out of cold rolled, fully galvanized profiles. The construction is finished with frameless glass (spiderglass). The building will accommodate a conference room, training facilities, meeting rooms and a test facility. The first phase of the construction will be finished in April (training facilities, conference and meeting rooms), the second phase (test facility) will be delivered end of 2009.
