Great Man Made River project, Libya
Frisomat participates in the largest irrigation project in the world, the Great Man Made River Project in Libya. A large network of pipes for water supply from the Sahara desert, consisting of more than 1.300 wells, most more than 500m deep to provide the primary Libyan cities of fresh drinking water. Tripoli, Benghazi, Sirt and many other cities will benefit directly from this massive undertaking. A total of 4 Astra-buildings will house control panels and Gas Insulated Switchgears for the electric power distribution.
OK Free Trade Zone, Nigeria
At 100km of Lagos, Nigeria, Frisomat is a main partner in the development of the OK Free Trade Zone. An industrial zone of 10.000 hectares located in Ogun and Ondo state with a Tax -Free status. The OK Free Trade Zone will include a deep sea port, including a container terminal to become the hub of West Africa. Frisomat built an Astra-building of 20m wide, 53m long and 6m high. A high quality industrial building perfectly suited for storage and logistics.
Funda, Angola
Frisomat built a brand-new horse riding arena in Fuanda, near Luanda, Angola. With an arena of 23m wide, 49m long and 6m high, there is a more than enough ample space for the equestrian and its horse. The total surface of the riding arena is an impressive 1.127m². The Astra-concept is well-suited for this kind of application, thanks to its impressive spans. Thanks to the mezzanine of 200m² no one will miss a bit of the action. Ceca Gadis, Port Gentil, Gabon
A supermarket of 1.800m² in combination with a storage building of 1.100m², the Astra-concept is suited for various applications. Located in Libreville, Gabon, both buildings stand perpendicular to each other. The main supermarket will be 30m wide, 61m long and 7m high, the storage building will be 30m wide, 37m long and 7m high.
Empresa de Aguas Minerais, Angola
An Astra-building of 23m wide, 41m long and 7m high. The freestanding industrial building will house a secured storage space with integrated 2 storey offices, perfectly possible by the means of the mezzanine-concept. Located in Bom Jesus, Angola, the cold profiled structure can resist the strongest climatological forces encountered.
